IMPORTANT: USCIS Warning Regarding Immigration Medical Examinations
If USCIS has requested an immigration medical examination for your pending case, it is important to use a medical provider authorized by USCIS and to follow USCIS instructions carefully.
DO NOT GO TO DR. JOSE REYES AT HEALTH NET MEDICAL
We have been informed by USCIS officers that USCIS is not accepting immigration medical examination results completed by Dr. Jose Reyes or any provider at Health Net Medical.
This instruction comes from USCIS, not Delgado Law Firm, PLLC. If you complete your immigration medical examination with this doctor or clinic, USCIS may not accept the results. You may then have to pay for and complete another medical examination.
For this reason, follow USCIS’s instruction and do not use the services of Dr. Jose Reyes or Health Net Medical for your immigration medical examination.
This Applies to Immigration Medical Examinations Requested by USCIS
This warning is not limited to Adjustment of Status applications. USCIS may request an immigration medical examination in connection with different types of pending immigration cases.
If USCIS has requested a medical examination for your case, you must complete it with a USCIS-authorized civil surgeon. Follow the instructions provided by USCIS and do not schedule or complete your examination with Dr. Jose Reyes or Health Net Medical.
How to Find a USCIS-Authorized Civil Surgeon
To find another authorized civil surgeon, use the official USCIS Civil Surgeon locator:
On the USCIS website, you can:
1. Enter your ZIP code.
2. Review the list of civil surgeons authorized by USCIS.
3. Select a doctor from the USCIS-approved list.
4. Choose your preferred language, if available.
5. Select the gender of the doctor you prefer, if available.
6. Contact the selected civil surgeon directly to schedule your examination.
You are responsible for selecting and scheduling an appointment with a civil surgeon from the USCIS-authorized list. Delgado Law Firm, PLLC does not select a doctor, provide a recommended list of doctors, schedule appointments, or reschedule medical examinations for clients.
Already Scheduled an Appointment?
If you scheduled an appointment with Dr. Jose Reyes or Health Net Medical, cancel that appointment and schedule a new appointment with another civil surgeon listed in the official USCIS Civil Surgeon locator.
Use the USCIS link above to find an authorized civil surgeon in your area. Do not attend the appointment with Dr. Jose Reyes or Health Net Medical, because USCIS may not accept the examination results and you may have to pay for another examination.
Already Completed Your Examination?
If you already completed an immigration medical examination with Dr. Jose Reyes or any other provider at Health Net Medical, be aware that USCIS officers have informed us that USCIS is not accepting medical examination results from this provider. You may need to complete and pay for another examination with a different civil surgeon authorized by USCIS.
